  I used this same lab a couple of weeks ago and I really enjoyed the mini advice that was given. Therefore I decided to do this lab once again to look into more advice to not only help other writers but advance my writing skills as well. I feel like most people strive to write things no one has ever written in order to stay relevant or unique, but sometimes that is not the best approach. In this small excerpt, it's not necessary to make all stories identical but to make the reader feel exactly what you are feeling. If you can mimic those exact feelings then you are a good writer. The Fun Part I found this little bit to be quite important. Sometimes we can find writing to be a little dreadful. It could be because we have no thoughts flowing or because we are writing about something we are uninterested in. On the contrary, looking to find a comfy outfit or cup of hot coffee, or even a spot by a window can make all of these dreadful aspects turn into fun and comfort. The useless days will add up to something This was one of the first ones that stood out to me because I find this to not only be important in a writer's life but just life in general. This is important to understand because sometimes we go through a day and realize that it was full of meaningless tasks and feel as though the day was a waste of time. Rather than looking at it from this perspective, realizing that everything we do happens for a reason and that it is a stepping stone to important parts of our life will be eye-opening.  This week I chose to do a writing lab and look into the  Writer's Write  option. This caught my attention because similar to my last week this large webpage has many small articles embedded in it with all different tips and tricks for writers, which I find to be very useful for this course. I am going to be finding some of my favorite mini-articles and summarizing the important and useful points from them Music To Listen To While You Write    This article caught my attention because typically when I am writing I find it very hard to listen to anything, whether it is a tv or even music. I find myself getting distracted and unable to think clearly about what I want to write about. The author goes into depth that it can be very difficult to listen to music that has words in it whilst writing because it can jumble your thought so on the contrary, listening to music such as piano music can stimulate thoughts.  After exploring this page I found some tips that not only are interesting but also are good to know for everyone when you find yourself writing. One of the topics mentioned that writing is never a waste of time and I found this to be quite true. Sometimes I feel like when I have to write something for a class it feels forced and it's often not my best work. In this point, the author says you don't always need to write for the public. With that being said I find myself writing the best and most insightful things when it comes down to writing my thoughts. I have so many pages in my notes about random days and how I felt on those days, and when I read them back I feel like I am back in those feelings. Another good tip made was to keep your dialogue in character. What this means is that when you are writing in dialogue to read it aloud to yourself in the tone you want to portray and it will help you stay in character and envision your story better.
